Entrain Studio
A guided path — and a studio to build your own
You've entered the Studio.
This isn't a playlist you press play on and zone out to — it's a skill you build. Give it two minutes of reading first, then choose where to begin. Everything here is designed to take you deeper, safely, at your own pace.
What is this, really?
Entrain Studio plays two smooth tones — one slightly faster than the other, one in each ear. Your brain can't help but notice the difference between them, and it hears that difference as a soft, rhythmic pulse that isn't actually in the air. Rest your attention on the pulse and, over a few minutes, the rest of your brain begins to fall into the same rhythm. Slow the rhythm down and your whole nervous system follows it down — into calm, then dreamlike, then deeply focused states. A narrator walks you through every step.
The path is built around the Focus levels that Robert Monroe charted at the Monroe Institute — from the threshold of sleep (mind awake, body asleep) all the way to the far edge of ordinary awareness. You don't need to believe anything. You just listen, and notice what happens.

How did that land?
Your honest answer sets the pace. It's the only thing that unlocks the next level.
What is this, and how does it work?
Entrain Studio plays two smooth tones, one slightly faster than the other. Your brain perceives the difference between them as a soft, rhythmic beat — a pulse that isn't really in the air. Rest your attention on that pulse and, over a few minutes, other regions of your brain begin to fall into the same rhythm. Slow the rhythm down and your whole nervous system follows it down into calm, dreamlike, deeply focused states. A narrator guides you the entire way.
What are the stages?
A nine-session journey that takes you deeper in stages. Each maps to a depth Robert Monroe charted: The Threshold — mind awake, body asleep (≈ Focus 10) · Expansion — expanded awareness (≈ Focus 12) · Stillness — deep stillness, no sense of time (≈ Focus 15) · The Edge — the far edge (≈ Focus 21). You settle, descend, rest at depth, then get gently guided back — every time.
Do I really need headphones?
For the guided program, yes — it uses the two-tones-one-per-ear (binaural) method, which only works when each ear hears its own tone. Any headphones or earbuds are fine. (The Studio tab has no-headphone modes if you want to experiment.)
How often should I do a session?
Once a day is plenty. The next level unlocks only after you finish the current one and mark it "calm & clear" — so the pace is set by you, not the calendar. If a session feels disorienting, repeat that level (or the one below) until it lands easy before going deeper.
Is it safe?
It's a tool for relaxation, focus and self-exploration — not a medical device, and it makes no therapeutic claims. Do a session sitting or lying somewhere you can fully let go. Never while driving or operating machinery. If you have epilepsy or a seizure history, don't use it without medical advice. If you ever feel tense, ease off.

Two tones, one per ear — the deepest effect, but needs headphones.
A smooth sine you barely notice. If you hear a beat in it alone, raise it.
Glide gradually — never jump the beat in noticeable steps.
