Your audio sessions and progress run entirely in your browser and are never uploaded. If you create an account, we store only what's needed to sign you in and manage your subscription. We never sell your personal information.
1. Who we are
Entrain Studio is operated by Asan Digital LLC ("Asan Digital", "we", "us"), the data controller for this service — a browser-based brainwave-entrainment and guided-meditation application. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. Questions: privacy@asan.digital.
2. What runs on your device only
The audio engine, the guided sessions, the focal visualizer, and your program progress (which days you've done, your streak, your readiness ratings) are processed and stored locally in your browser (via local storage). This information is never transmitted to us. Clearing your browser storage erases it.
3. What we collect if you create an account
- Account data: your email address, and — if you sign in with Google — the basic profile information Google returns (name, email, profile image). Handled by our authentication provider, Supabase.
- Subscription data: your subscription status and billing identifiers, handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card details — those are entered on Stripe's secure pages.
- Basic technical data: standard server logs (e.g. IP address, timestamp) that our hosting and providers generate to keep the service secure and running.
4. Why we use it
- To sign you in and keep your access working across devices.
- To process and manage your subscription and free-trial coupons.
- To secure the service, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not build behavioral profiles of your inner experience.
5. Sub-processors
We rely on a small number of trusted providers who process data on our behalf:
- Supabase — authentication and account database.
- Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing.
- Amazon Web Services — hosting and serverless functions.
- Google — only if you choose "Sign in with Google."
6. Cookies & local storage
We use local storage and strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and remember your progress and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise them, email privacy@asan.digital. You can delete most local data yourself by clearing your browser storage, and cancel your subscription at any time from your account.
8. Data retention
We keep account and subscription records for as long as your account is active and as required to comply with legal and financial obligations. Local, on-device data persists only until you clear it.
9. Children
Entrain Studio is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; we'll revise the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide clearer notice.
This policy is provided as a clear, good-faith starting point that reflects how the app works. The operating entity (Asan Digital LLC) is named; before taking real payments, have it reviewed against the laws that apply to you (e.g. GDPR, CCPA) and confirm the entity's registered address and contact details.
